2010 Ride - September 26th. HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY!  Welcome to the official home of Edmonton's Annual Motorcycle Toy Run. The 2009 Annual Edmonton Motorcycle Toy Run started out on a chilly September morning. It was expected that the current recession would have a dramatic impact on the attendance this year. However, the temperature and the recession did not keep the riders away - they assembled at Capilano Mall by the hundreds - approximately 3000 riders in all - we only counted those that were within the official parking area. Riders began arriving just before 09:00 A.M. and they were still arriving at 11:00 A.M. - the official time to cross the start line for the ride to Hawrelak Park. This is quite the difference from Sunday the 28 September, 1984 when only 250 motorcyclists attended. The attendance in 2009 was more accurately taken both at Capilano and at Hawrelak Park. Thus we can officially announce that there were just under 1800 riders that actually rode to Hawrelak Park under chilly, but sunny skies. All this in support of Santas Anonymous . This ride has become the biggest kick-off for Santas annual campagin. Santas Annoymous is a charity dedicated to making under privileged children's Christmas a better and brighter one. The 2010 Ride will be conducted on SUNDAY, 26 September, 2010. As usual, Capilano Mall is the official starting point. The Ride will start at exactly 11:00 A.M. and end at Hawrelak Park. - more info to follow as it becomes available, come back often!
